Support Atitlán Women Weavers
Donate to help us support women and children in the region!
The region of Lake Atitlán has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Anita has been working hard to support her community through these difficult times by supplying food baskets and other basic necessities to families around the lake, as well as by sponsoring children to go to school. This is all possible because of donations from people across the world!
Please click the button below to make a donation or view pictures of Anita's work in action. For more information about the students currently sponsored, scroll down the page. If you have any questions, get in touch with us. We would be happy to provide you with more information! On behalf of all the women at Atitlán Women Weavers, thank you for your kind support! ¡Muchas gracias! |

Our Sponsored Students
Children around the region don't always have the opportunity to go to school. But with a little support, we have seen many succeed in their communities and excel in their classrooms. Please get in touch if you would like to support other children in the region. As we are a small project and now own the property of the cooperative, we are able to dedicate 100% of the proceeds to the students to help them pay for their tuition and school supplies.
Here are a few of our sponsored students and some fun facts about each. Scroll through photos of them and their families!

Other donations
Here in San Pedro, we are also looking for donations of school supplies, new or gently used sneakers for children, toys, and other items that could be distributed to families in our community. If you are planning a trip to Guatemala and could help us collect a few of these items, please let us know. We would be very happy to help distribute them and have you visit the local school with us! Muchas gracias :)
